With the advent of the internet the world has become a small place to live in, communication has reached new levels and that is why having a website has become necessary. And the same thing goes for everyone, even lawyers. If you don’t have a website then you are missing out millions of prospective clients.
One of the ways by which a website can be optimized is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) because remember search engines are the entry point for most of the prospective clients. So if your website is not coming within the first few pages of a search engine it means your site is not Search Engine Optimized. In order to get a good page rank there are certain factors that you should keep in your mind,
1. Always keep your site updated, add new information, post comments, and invite discussions. Search engines love sites which are always updated but beware, don’t copy from others; your website could be thrown away from their index.
2. Get other sites to link to your site, although it is very difficult but more the links you get the better for you but then again they should be relevant links.
3. Use unique Meta titles.
4. Make use of minimum and valid HTML codes. Make sure the HTML codes are W3 tools validated as this helps the search engine spider to identify your website faster.
5. Make sure that the content is relevant and fulfills the target audience’s expectations.
Making your website search engine optimized not only increases the traffic but boosts the brand image and reputation of your company but don’t expect to get results overnight and abstain from those who promise to do so.
